Lyle Wilkinson

Lyle Wilkinson grew up in Canada. He earned both BBA and MBA while working full time, and prior to retiring; he managed the USA's largest coffee farm.

In the seventies, Lyle discovered that brokers' incentives were not aligned with increasing his wealth. He stopped trading when his broker bragged about huge commissions, in a down year. Finance courses, mutual fund performance, and Wall Street analyst ratings pushed him toward the random walk theory of price movement. Still, lingering doubt dogged his belief in the random movement of prices. Always a fan of data driven decisions he began researching disciplined, mechanical, system approaches to the stock market in 1999.
